Náprstek Museum This print commemorates a performance of Soga Moyō Aigo no Wakamatsu ('Soga Brothers: Loving Care of Young Pines' - 曾我模様愛護若松) at the Nakamura Theater in Edo in the 3rd month of 1769.
In the other copies linked to above in Boston, Chicago and New York there is a signature, Shunshō ga (春章画) with a Hayashi seal, on the right side of the print. There is neither a signature nor a seal on the print in the Lyon Collection. Also, none of these linked images carries the text printed on the left side as it is here.
This raises the question of whether or not this is a later reproduction. As of now, we don't know.
