Lyon Collection - another Toyokuni I print from ten years earlier showing Okaru looking down at Yuranosuke Issei ichidai (一世一代) is printed at the top of the print near the head of Bandō Hikosaburō III as Yuranosuke. It is an advertisement for the fact that this print is meant to represent Hikosaburō's final performance in this role.
