Ritsumeikan University It would appear that the first prints published in this set were designed by Kunikazu in 1864, while the later prints were done by Yoshitaki in the following year. Note particularly the 8 panel composition from the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston that we have added as a jpeg. It was published in 2/1865 and shows 4 Kunikazu prints on the top row and 4 Yoshitaki prints on the lower row. It represents many of the actors and their roles from the play Keisei Koi no Sekifuda (The Barrier Ticket of Love, a Courtesan Play). But figures from other plays are also represented.

These figures from the 8 panel composition are shown on the syllabary series prints too, but not the specific image from the Lyon Collection.
