British Museum As noted above this print illustrates a figure in the play Sugata no Hana Azuma no Date-zome by Tsuruya Nanboku IV and others, which was performed at the ichimura-za in the 3rd month of 1812. This appears to be the right-hand panel of a diptych. The left panel shows Sawamura Sōjūrō IV as the wrestler Narukami Katsunosuke.
