Rijksmuseum - dated 1925-36 "Two jungle crows (Corvus macrorhynchos) are in flight on a cold, clear night, a full moon in the distance. This work is one of a series of some thirty ō-tanzaku prints published by Watanabe Shōzaburō (1885-1962): they do not have a publisher's seal. This design is reminiscent of a famous shikishiban of 1888 by the artist Shibata Zeshin (1807-91), which illustrates two black crows in flight against a bright orange sky."
