The Kabuki play Hikosan gongen chikai-no sukedachi tells about Keyamura Roskusuke's efforts to help the widow and the daughters of his fighting teacher Yoshioka Ichimisai. The leader of a famous fighting school, Yoshioka Ichimisai was treacherously killed by the head of another fighting school, Kyōgoku Takumi. Rokusuke was betrothed to one of Ichimisai's daughters. Yoshioka Ichimisai's suzerain was member of the Mōri family...
