Osaka publisher (Marks U130); seal Kawaoto (川音). This firm dates from ca. 1847-1860s. Artists published by this house include Hirosada, Kiyosada, Kunimasu, Kunitsune, Masunobu, Sadakatsu, Sadanobu & Sadamasu I & II.

Hirosada is the only artist in the Lyon Collection who was published by this house. That is why we have highlighted his name in bold type.
