Biography:

So far we don't know the history or dates of this actor, but perhaps in time we will be able to work this out. What we do know are some of the productions he performed in in the early 1860s - more specifically 1861.

He appeared in prints by Toyokuni III and Kunisada II. There is one print in Honolulu and another in Boston showing him in different performances. He appears in a few Japanese collections including Ritsumeikan University, the Ota Museum and in the Hiraki Ukiyo-e Foundation.
