Biography:

Much of this actors life and career is unknown and a bit mysterious. Active under this name from the 1820s to the beginning of the early 1840s. We know neither his birth date nor the date of his death. Kabuki21 suggests that he may have been a pupil or follower of Segawa Kikunojō V (1802-32).
