Biography:

We know almost nothing about this actor. However, we do know that he was performing as early as ca. 1849 and as late as 1864.

Yonegorō was portrayed in prints by Yoshitsuya, as in this one in the Lyon Collection, Kunichika and Kuniyoshi.

He appeared in prints published by Tsujiokaya Bunsuke, Izutsuya Shōkichi (1863), Enshūya Hikobei (ca. 1849), Moriya Jihei (a reissuing of the previous publisher), Gifuya Seishichi and Ebiya Rinnosuke (1861).
