Edo print publisher (Marks 059). Artists published by this house include Eisen, Eizan, Hiroshige, as Kunisada and Toyokuni III, Kunitomi, Kuniyasu, Kuniyoshi, Sadahide, Sadanobu, Sadatora, Shunchō (fl. 1815-23), Shuntei, Taito II, Toyokuni I, Toyokuni II and Yoshitora.
The only artist in the Lyon Collection carrying this publisher's seal is Toyokuni II. His name is highlighted in bold type.

"Around 1841-41 together with the publisher Ezakiya Tatsuzō, with whom he probably had some kind of a family relation, Ezakiya Kichibei published one of Hiroshige's Tokaidō landscape series known as "Cursive Script Tokaidō" (Gyōshu Tokaidō).
