Edo print publisher (Marks 231): seal name Kawashō, firm name Shōeidō. Artists published by this house include Eisen, Eizan, Hiroshige, Hokuga, Kunihide, as Kunisada & Toyokuni III, Kunitora, Kuniyasu, Kuniyoshi, Sadafusa, Senchō and Toyokuni II.
Kunisada and Kuniyoshi are the only artists in the Lyon Collection published by this house. Their names are highlighted in bold type.
