Biography:

Edo print publisher (Marks 126). Artists published by this house include Eizan, Hiroshige, Hyaku'u, as both Kunisada and Toyokuni III, Kuniyoshi, Sadashige, Sadatora, Utamaro and Yoshitomi.

Prints by Kuniyoshi and Hiroshige in the Lyon Collection were both published by this house. We have highlighted their names in bold type above.

Horikō Fusajirō carved the blocks on Kuniyoshi prints in the mid-1840s for this house as did Hori Renkichi around this same time.
