Biography:

Edo print publisher (Marks 517) active from ca. 1793 to the 1810s. Artists published by this house include Chōki, Eishi, Kiyonaga, Shunchō, Toyohiro, Toyokuni I, Utamaro and Utamaro II.

Chōki is the only artist in the Lyon Collection published by this house. We have highlighted his name in bold type.
