) from the play 'Pulling out spring weeds' [引抜て春の道草] - in the center panel is Bandō Hikosaburō V as the Master (旦那 - danna) and Bandō Mitsugorō VI as the craftsman's wife (Shigotoshi nyōbō); on the left are Otani Tomeomon as the craftsman (Shigotoshi - 仕事師) and Iwai Shijaku II as a Baby Minder (komori - 子守)
