In a garden with flowering bush clover beneath an open window, the actors, left to right, Onoe Kikugorō, Ichikawa Danjurō and Iwai Hanshirō in a bijin role.

The Tsubouchi Memorial Theatre Museum gives the date of 1825 for the play represented in this triptych.
