Physical description:

This may be an earlier edition than the examples in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston and in the Ishibi Prefectural Museum. Theirs exhibit two censor seals along with the kiwame. This print only shows the kiwame.

The original Tōkaidō was established by the Kamakura bakufu (1192-1333) to run from Kamakura to the imperial capital of Kyoto.
