The browse page allows your users to find objects in your collection according to metadata "facets" of your choosing, such as object type, date, keywords, places, and entities. The browse panel is automatically generated with metadata from your records, so your users will never receive an empty result set.
You can configure the browse facets to display by editing the browse.conf
file in the Pawtucket application folder. You can change this text by editing views/Browse/browse_intro_text_html.php in your theme folder.
Find objects according to the Types defined in your collection profile.
Find objects according to the people associated with your records. You can browse by name, role, or entity type according to your configuration.
Find objects by Occurrences associated with your records, such as historical events, productions, and other record types in your collection.
